Advisory: Fox Television Stations, Inc., et al. v. FCC (2d Cir. July 13, 2010)
In a significant victory for broadcast networks, media corporations and the news and entertainment industries, a panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit yesterday struck down, as a violation of the First Amendment, the indecency policy of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

W&G Wins Regulator’s Unanimous Consent for Client CFC to Acquire Principal Telecom and Cable TV Providers in U.S. Virgin Islands
W&G successfully represented National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation in obtaining unanimous approval from the Public Services Commission of the U.S. Virgin Islands for CFC’s acquisition from Stan Springel, as Chapter 11 trustee for the bankruptcy estate of Innovative Communication Corporation, of the Virgin Islands Telephone Corporation and Innovative Cable TV.
