Wiltshire & Grannis Names Three New Partners
Washington, DC (January 8, 2010) – Wiltshire & Grannis LLP announced today that S. Roberts Carter, Steven A. Fredley, and Amy E. Richardson have been elected partners, effective January 1, 2010. Ms. Richardson and Messrs. Carter and Fredley previously were associates at W&G.
“Ever since they joined our firm, Steve, Amy, and Rob have proven themselves to be superb lawyers and superb colleagues,” said Managing Partner Mark Grannis. “Their contributions over the past few years are a big reason for the success we continue to enjoy and the client satisfaction we continue to earn.”
S. Roberts Carter – Rob Carter’s practice focuses on telecommunications and technology law, including issues involving regulation of wireless and wireline networks, privacy, and intellectual property. Mr. Carter received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, and joined W&G following a clerkship with the Honorable Joan B. Gottschall, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.
Steven A. Fredley – Steve Fredley practices in the areas of white-collar criminal defense, complex civil litigation, and privacy and media-related matters. Mr. Fredley graduated magna cum laude from George Mason University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the George Mason Law Review, and clerked for the Honorable Frank W. Bullock, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
Amy E. Richardson – Amy Richardson practices in the areas of white-collar criminal litigation, governmental enforcement actions, media matters, and complex civil litigation. Ms. Richardson graduated cum laude from Duke University School of Law, where she was awarded the Advocacy Award by the faculty. Ms. Richardson began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable N. Carlton Tilley of the Middle District of North Carolina.
