Wiltshire & Grannis LLP successfully represented both Spanish purchaser Amper S.A. and U.S. seller eLandia International, Inc. before the inter-agency Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, the Team Telecom agencies, and the Federal Communications Commission, with respect to Amper’s acquisition of eLandia and its telecommunications businesses in the territory of American Samoa, including Blue Sky Communications and the American Samoa Hawaii cable system.

Wiltshire & Grannis LLP successfully represented National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation to obtain final regulatory approvals from British Virgin Islands and St. Maarten regulators to acquire BVI Cable T.V. Ltd. and St. Maarten Cable TV, the principal cable television providers in their respective territories, from Stan Springel, as Chapter 11 trustee for the bankruptcy estate of Innovative Communication Corporation.

W&G Team Leads Successful Effort to Reform FCC Fees for Undersea Cables
Following a multi-year effort led by a team of lawyers from Wiltshire & Grannis LLP, the FCC decided unanimously to reform the annual fees paid by undersea cable operators to the FCC in support of the FCC budget.
